Traffic building experiment 101 – 200 Free Mac Wallpapers

I have this theory (and stay with me here for a moment) that it’s possible to monetize any website without having to put in a dime in SEO or other expenses – just by building up traffic using social networking sites and blogs (without spamming). I’m not going to go into too many details on this experiment just yet, but part 1 involves creating a simple wallpaper gallery (user-generated content, free, easy to use). The aim of this experiment is to see how many people I can get to use the sub-site within a week. I have a focused target audience, a UI thats not flashy but just does what it says on the tin..and a content management system that I can add stuff to at any time over the next few days.
